Biannual Blogathon Bash Kick Off! #blogathon2

This weekend, Atomic Reach heard about an amazing challenge called the Biannual Blogathon Bash and we excitedly signed up.

The Biannual Blogathon Bash is a twice yearly event geared towards bloggers who need  to get much needed work done on their blog. This blogging marathon lasts 72 hours long. It started on Friday, March the 9th and ends on Monday, March the 12th at 8am EST.

It's not expected that participants blog for 72 hours straight but it's a push to get all your blogging tasks done over the weekend.  These tasks can range anywhere from switching platforms like you've always wanted to and catching up with writing blog posts to changing your dreadful template.

The Biannual Blogathon is a great way to unite procrastinators together in supporting each other to finish up their blogging tasks and give the blog the much-needed attention it deserves.

Here are some of our goals in getting this blog into gear.  Before the clock strikes midnight, here's what we're going to accomplish on our to-do list:

    1. Write seven posts - one for every day of the week! This exercise will put us ahead of the next week's blogging schedule and amp up the posts.
    2. Create an editorial calendar for the rest of the month. This will keep us organized for content creation and topics.
    3. Tweak the layout - this blog needs some social goodies. We'd like to make sure we're plugging in the most effective tools to keep our readers engaged and social.

This list should be enough to keep us busy for the rest of the day. It's the final stretch and we wish the rest of the Biannual Blogathon Bash participants much success with their own goals!

Thanks to Serena, blogger of Bewildered Bug, for letting us know about the event and many thanks to Kathleen (aka @callista83 and @blogathon2) for hosting this bloggerific event!

How are you doing in the final stretch? Have you put a dent into your to-do list? Who's almost done? What goals have you accomplished?
