I remember my Mom telling that as a little girl I always wanted to help the hurt kid on the playground or take the sick child to the nurse.  She said I always befriended the new kid in class – even though I might have talked too much to do it!

It seems that since forever I’ve wanted to help others.

Blogging is a great way for me to give back to other marketers.  I can share my knowledge and experiences about why a specific marketing concept makes sense or how doing these few things can deliver great results and provide amazing value for you and your company.

Informative, fresh, and – I hope – value packed is my content goal when I'm blogging. My own experiences in marketing, business, and technology; as well as mistakes or successes I’ve seen others walk through provide much of the content for my blogs.

Sprinkled into my blogs is knowledge I’ve gained from reading other blogs and talking to experts and business leaders like Amanda Kahlow of 6 sense and Dominique Levin of AgilOne.

I love to read blogs about emerging trends, best practices on marketing technology or techniques for the marketing organization to drive value into the business.  The landscape of what marketing does and how it does it is changing so rapidly.

Staying abreast of the changes is necessary if I want to provide value in my blogs.

I’m very privileged to work with amazing marketers and thought leaders.  Having learned much at the philosophical knee of entrepreneurs as well as the foundational concepts from practitioners, I try to use my blog posts as a “voice” to share their ideas and those: what I have learned – so I can share the wealth of knowledge and help others.

Through blogging I have met marketing leaders who are shaping the landscape of tomorrow’s MarTech and Content Marketing platforms Delving into predictive intelligence as well as understanding tips and techniques for standardizing demand gen data have been some of the opportunities I've had.

Interesting opportunities have come my way as a result of blogging.  I have presented for Online Marketing Institute, Eloqua Modern Marketing Tour, and Masters of Business Online. I have even been a guest on #AtomicChat.

The future is bright.  I look forward to continuing to share what I learn and experience to help others.  I also look forward to continuing to grow personally and professionally through my blogs and the relationships that grow out of the effort.
