Q&A: Top 5 Questions this week about the Atomic Reach Content Scoring Engine

Since our content scoring engine launched earlier this week, we have been busy replying to a slew of questions and comments regarding the ins and outs of the engine. We decided to post the top 5 questions that we have been receiving this week on how to use the Atomic Reach content scoring engine. Were these one of yours too?

1. I'm a Wordpress user, but I can’t authorize my Wordpress account.

If you’re using a self-hosted Wordpress account, you’re probably wondering why the Wordpress option isn’t authenticating your site. For the time being, the scoring engine authenticates WordPress.com blogs (the free option of Wordpress) but don’t fret, you can still get your content scored. All you have to do is select your source type as RSS and enter your URL followed by “/feed.”

For example: http://www.yourdomain.com/feed

2. How to I plug in my URL?

From the main dashboard, click Manage Sources on the side bar. You will be taken to your content sources page where you can plug-in your WordPress or RSS feed. Choose your source type, style, and target audience.

Copy and paste your URL and click “add source.”

For example: If you are using a RSS feed, copy and paste your domain name, followed by “/feed”.

If you are using Feedburner, copy and paste your Feedburner URL.

If you are using a Wordpress.com account, select Wordpress as your Source Type and authenticate it.

You will then be well on your way to getting your content scored!

3. Where do I go after I complete my Profile?

Once you complete your profile and click “save”, simply click on “Manage Sources” in the sidebar to start feeding in your content.

4. Can I delete a feed after I put it in?

Shoot us an e-mail at info [@] atomicreach.com and we’ll be happy to delete your feed. We’re working on giving you this feature soon, so be on the lookout!

5.Can I change my target audience after my content is fed through?

Having second thoughts about the style and target audience you chose? No problem! Send us an email at info [@] atomicreach.com and we’ll gladly change it for you.
